At LineMind Novelist, we respect your work, your readers, and your trust. Our goal is to give you clear editorial feedback while keeping your draft safe and private.

Our Commitment

• We do not use your manuscript to train any systems. Your work is never used to improve models or build datasets.
• We do not build profiles or analytics from your creative content. Your words are for your diagnostic only.
• We retain your work no longer than necessary. Manuscripts are ephemeral—processed and discarded.
• Your voice remains yours. We exist to support your craft, not to harvest your creativity.

What happens with your draft

• Your words stay yours. We do not use your drafts to train any systems.
• Processing only. Your draft is handled securely by our secure processing partner solely to generate your editorial report. Your text is never used for training or any purpose beyond your diagnostic. Our processing partner may retain information briefly (up to 30 days) to keep the service safe and functioning—never for training. After this operational period, your manuscript is permanently deleted. This brief retention is part of the safeguards that keep LineMind Novelist reliable, secure, and trustworthy.
• No hidden storage. We do not keep your draft beyond the diagnostic run, unless you explicitly opt in to future account features (e.g., save history).

What information we collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide editorial feedback and maintain a secure, reliable service.

Manuscript Data

Your manuscript text is used only to generate your diagnostic report; retained only for security monitoring (30 days maximum), never for training. We do not store, archive, or use your creative work for any purpose other than delivering your personalized editorial feedback.

Diagnostic Reports

The editorial feedback we generate for you exists only during your session. Future account features may allow you to save reports—you'll control that data and can delete it at any time.

Account Data (Pro Tier, when enabled)

Email address, billing information, and access credentials. Used only to provide access, billing, fraud prevention, and support.

Technical Data

• Technical logs. Limited data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and basic event data used for reliability, abuse prevention, and performance analytics. Your manuscript content is never included in these logs.
• Feedback & ratings. If you mark a diagnostic as helpful or leave a comment, we use that input to improve clarity and quality.
• Cookies. We use essential cookies (session, rate-limit, security). If analytics are enabled, we use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand feature usage—not to profile individual authors.

How we protect your data

• Encryption. Data in transit is protected by HTTPS.
• Server-side processing. Sensitive processing happens on our servers; prompts, keys, and internal logic are not exposed in your browser.
• Access limits. Operational access is restricted to what’s necessary to run the service and support you.
• Abuse safeguards. Input validation and rate-limiting help keep the system stable and safe to use.

Your choices & controls

• Use without an account. You can try the tool without creating an account (free tier).
• Opt-in features. If you enable future account features (like save history), you’ll control what is stored and can request deletion.
• Contact us any time. You can request access to or deletion of your personal information and stored drafts (when applicable).

Data retention

• Drafts (LineMind). The LineMind Novelist app does not keep your draft beyond the diagnostic run, unless you opt in to a storage feature.
• Technical logs. Retained for a limited period to ensure reliability, security, and service quality.
• Processing partner retention. Our secure processing partner handles your manuscript solely to generate your editorial report. Your text is never used for training or any outside purpose. Children’s privacy

LineMind Novelist is intended for adult users and not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this page as our product evolves. If changes are material, we’ll provide a clear in-product notice.
